So what's the mood like over there? Jobs is the master of the small fish eating the big fish buyout (he did it with next->apple), and if anyone can make Disney cool again, it's probably him. I think they're going to try to avoid killing the golden goose (Pixar) with this one, so it should be fairly transparent to you folks. Whee!

That would be the hope. Lasseter is pretty much head of all disney animation (and creative chief of theme parks! Woo!) and Disney Feature Animation reports to Pixar. That's very weird.

There was a lot of drinking after 2:00 yesterday. Not celebratory, not miserable. Just drinking and not knowing what was going to happen.
